Winter Weather: Fairly mild winter temps in most low-lying areas, with heavy snow accumulations in the Cascade and Olympics Mountain ranges. Occasional wind storms and lots of rain. Occasional snowfall in low-lying areas.
Winter Activities: Skiing (mountain passes), holiday festivals, river or beachcombing (bring raingear), shopping, sporting events, historic tours, winery tours, visit museums, staying warm by a fire.
Spring Weather: Mild temperatures & lots of rain. May get periods of sun, rain, hail, & wind all in the same day.

Summer Weather: Western WA- humid at times, with warm temps and occasional rain. Eastern WA- mostly dry & warm.

Major Metropolitan Areas: East Puget Sound, (Everett to Olympia, including Seattle, Bellevue & Tacoma), Vancouver, Spokane in Eastern WA.
Rustic Areas: Cle Elum, Moses Lake, Omak, Raymond, Mt. Rainier, Forks, Vantage
Scenic Areas: Leavenworth, LaConner, Mt. Rainier, Forks, The Gorge, Mt. St. Helens, Snoqualmie, Friday Harbor, White Salmon, Blaine
Peaceful Getaway Areas: Ocean Shores, Long Beach, Port Townsend, Lake Chelan, Hoodsport, Quinault, Gig Harbor
